The Galesburg Public Art Commission continuously raises funds for projects through the purchase of bricks at the site of our first project, Poet in the Park. Donors may choose from a 4″x 8″ Brick with room for two lines for a $250.00 donation or a 8″ x 8″ Brick for a $1500.00 donation. Once a brick is purchased a member of the GPAC board will contract you regarding what you would like on your brick. The purchase of a brick is a great way to honor or memorize a loved one.

There are currently three benches available to donors at the Poet in the Park site. The benches will sit around around the statue of Carl Sandburg and his goat Nelly created by Galesburg Native Lonnie Stewart. Lacky Monument in Galesburg will work with individual donors making sure the engravings on the bench meet the donor’s specifications. Benches can be purchased for $3000.
